As part of the ”Istorija u Slikama na Znakovnom Jeziku” (History in Pictures in Sign Language) project, that was carried out by the Archives of Vojvodina in cooperation with the Association of Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Vojvodina and Heror Media Pont, one of the anticipated activities included a tour of the Archives of Vojvodina for the deaf and hard of hearing, the members of the Association of Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Vojvodina.
The host was Ljiljana Bubnjević, PR and archivist, that lead the guests through the cultural institution.
Apart from the current exhibition ”Masteri 2018” (Masters 2018), by master’s students from the Department of Fine Arts of the Academy of Arts from Novi Sad, attendants were able to also see: the Reading room, laboratory, the room for sorting archival holdings, depot and how the Archives of Vojvodina function in general, with an included invitation for citizens to come and do research into the topics that interest them every day from 8-14 hours.
We would also like to remind everyone that, as a part of this project, a training course is held for employees from five cultural institutions from Novi Sad, while the employees at the Archives of Vojvodina had the chance to greet the guests in sign language.
